Accent Vocal is a sextet formed in 2011.<ref name="Roots Music Report 2019"/> Because of their diverse locations, the formation of Accent was internet inspired and enabled. The group worked remotely until they were invited to perform at the Swedish choral Umeå2014, A Choral Midsummer Light's Dream festival (Lund??) in 2014. <ref name="Umeå2014 2014"/><ref name="Jazz Weekly 2019"/> The group styles itself and follows in the tradition of groups like [[Wikipedia:Take 6|Take 6]] and [[Wikipedia:The Hi-Lo's|The Hi-Lo's]].<ref name="ArcArtists 2019"/>
[[Wikipedia:Sara Niemietz|Sara Niemietz]] is an independent songwriter and vocal stylist; she is a cast member of [[Wikipedia:Postmodern Jukebox|Postmodern Jukebox]], and has recorded with [[Wikipedia:Christmas_Spirit_(Richard_Marx_album)|Richard Marx]] and [[Wikipedia:/The_Living_Room_Sessions_(B._J._Thomas_album)|B. J. Thomas]]. At the time of this writing, Niemietz' latest album is ''[[Get Right (album)|Get Right]]'' (2019).
