Cinq Musics services include rights management, content creation and label services for recording artists. Percy Miller (aka Master P) became president of Urban Music Development at Cinq in 2017.[2][3] Janet Jackson released her "Made For Now" music video in collaboration with Cinq in August 2018,[4][5][6] the single features Daddy Yankee and returned Jackson to the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time since 2015.[7][8]
Background
Cinq Music was conceived by Barry Daffurn as a digital music distribution company in 2012,[9] Cinq received first round venture capital funding in 2015,[10][11] second round funding brought Cinq under the stewardship of GoDigital Media Group and the label was integrated with the multi-platform network, VidaPrimo Networks in 2017.[9]
