Get Right is Sara Niemietz' third LP. Several song were written while touring internationally with Postmodern Jukebox,[2] and headlining her own tour with Snuffy Walden.[3] In an interview with Carlos Amezcua, for BEONDTV, Walden and Niemietz recall their first published music video as a duo, a rendition of Leon Russell's, "A Song For You", in 2010.[4][5] The pair went on to perform a live rendition of her single, "Made to Last" for the second part of the interview.[6]
With the exception of a live recorded rendition of Roy Orbison's "Crying"(1961), the album is original music. The singles, released as music video, including the title track, "Get Right", "Don't Leave Me Hanging", "Shine" and "On Ten" are animated lyric videos created by Omar Edmundo. The music video release for "Crying" is video of the original recording heard on the LP. The Hear Me Now tour of the EU directly followed the album release in early 2019.[7]
